Any two dimensional measuring tool like a ruler is only an approximation of your size. Across different manufacturers the lasts and patterns vary slightly so sizing may also vary as a result. We recommend you try your shoes on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles and uppers first to test the fit before wear.

During the warmer months, it's important to pick a shoe that will support your foot but also allow it to breathe and feel free. That's exactly what this Tommy Hilfiger boat shoe has to offer.

Boat shoes were invented in 1935 by an American man called Paul A. Sperry from New Haven, Connecticut. He noticed one day that his dog was able to run across icy terrain without slipping, and came up with the idea of cutting siping (thin slits) into the soles of his shoes in order to retain better grip. From there, boat shoes were born, and grew in popularity throughout the 1970s amongst people from all walks of life, continuing to be the height of style today.

This vibrant, stand-out boat shoe by Tommy Hilfiger features blue, white and red suede material with a three eyelet lacing system supporting white, wide laces. There's also white detailed stitching on the vamp, giving the shoe extra character and uniqueness. The stitched rubber sole has distinctive red rubber side banding and provides excellent grip as you would expect from a high quality boat shoe. Thanks to the interior leather lining and padded insole, you can be guaranteed a comfortable fit and long lasting wear no matter how busy or active your life is.

One of the unique things about boat shoes is that they're designed to be worn without socks and still look incredibly trendy. Pair this Tommy Hilfiger shoe with a rolled up pair of white or blue chinos, a slim red belt and summer polo shirt with a navy trilby hat. Given that this boat shoe features three iconic Tommy Hilfiger colours, you can mix and match items of clothing that compliment and contrast with them, allowing for maximum versatility and creativity.

Also available in taupe and a separate navy leather style.
